The third edition of the Workshop on Metal Additive Manufacturing that will be held on 28 and 29 May 2018 at the Auditorium Dick Annegarn (former theater), located in the “Quartier Agora” of the Sart-Tilman Campus in Liège.

After ULB in 2016 and UCL in 2017, this year, the Workshop on Metal Additive Manufacturing is organized by the University of Liège with the kind support of CRM, Sirris and Cenaero industrial transfer centers.

This workshop annually gathers scientists and industrial partners to discuss about the leading edge challenges in additive manufacturing processes, but it is also related to technologies such as numerical simulation, topology optimization, powder metallurgy, process optimization, laser technologies, material tailoring, microstructure characterization.

For the 3rd edition, we will also put forward the strong and complementary interaction between topology optimization and additive manufacturing.

Registrations have been extended till May 20 by sending email to Mrs Sabine Houten (sabine.houten@uliege.be)

Keynote speakers Prof. Jean Pierre Kruth (KUL), Jean Yves Hascoët (EC Nantes), Mattijs Langelaar (TU Delft), and Dr Frédéric Lani (ANYSHAPE) have already confirmed their venue.

Because of your strong involvement in the field of additive manufacturing and/or topology optimization, attendees will meet active researchers and engineerings involved in this fast growing field during the conference.
